The game features: more than 20 design challenges and over 50 virtual charms; nine mini-games; four playable characters and five pets; in-game photo capabilities; and multiplayer support. Story Isabella, world famous fashion designer, is sponsoring a reality fashion show to discover the hottest new design talent. As one of the finalists, and with the Charm Girl BFFs backing you up, work your way to the top of the heap by providing makeovers to both human and canine companions in fashion show competitions like none seen before. Gameplay Gameplay in Charm Girls Club: Fashion Show is based around using your creative abilities in fashion-oriented challenges to attain fashion mogul status. To do this players compete in 20+ design challenges and several different mini-games. Success in these gains you Charms, which are your reward and the building blocks in your quest for fashion stardom. Charms are categorized into four types, each of which must be claimed for ultimate success. These are, reward charms, activity charms, multiplayer charms and surprise charms. The game contains three difficulty levels, allowing for good replayability. Challenges unfold in order, and so must be completed before others are revealed. These challenges and the available mini-games deal with everything from memory puzzles and timed events, to resource related tasks in the fashion field. The game also contains 2-4 player multiplayer support in wireless DS multi-card play, and allows for character customization of face shape, eyes, hair and clothes. I hate buying video games for my nieces and they never play them. Not the case with the Charm Girls games. I got my 11 year old niece My Fashion Show and she loved it. She passed it on to my older niece (14 years old) and she said it was a really good game too. So nice to find a game they both enjoy! Both my nieces said Charm Girls games are better than recent games from DS's Imagine series, they have almost all the Imagine games, but the Charm Girls seem a bit more grown up for them now. Anyway, they both gave Charm Girls 5 stars.
