5.0 out of 5 stars The ultimate butt wiping experience
When I wipe my butt I want it to be with this toilet paper. It is like wiping with a little slice of heaven.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not nearly as good as Cottonelle Ultra
I switched because Cottonelle Ultra was not available that week and it is not nearly as good: thinner and harsher. Going back to Cottonelle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the convenience of home delivery!, September 17, 2010

This particular Charmin product is difficult to find in local stores as it is a premium product, although far superior to other tissues, regardless of brand. The convenience of home delivery with no tax and minimal delivery charges is so much easier than shopping all over town locally to locate the product. I am delighted Amazon carries this product and simplifies my shopping needs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cottenelle with Aloe vs. Charmin Ultra Strong vs. Charmin Sensitive, April 27, 2011
This review is from: Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper Rolls 6 Giant Rolls, (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
After sampling just about every brand of toilet tissue, I settled on Cottenelle with Aloe & Vitamin E and have been using it for years. It was soft, strong, absorbent--just about everything a girl would ask for in a bathroom tissue.

Then I saw a Charmin Ultra Strong commercial and decided to give it a try and was sold. It wasn't as soft as the Cottonelle, but it *was* stronger and was less likely to leave behind traces of papery-goodness. Another year went by and now I'm presented with an opportunity to use Charmin Sensitive. All I can say is, I'm hooked.

Call me fickle if you want to, but Charmin Sensitive combined all the elements that I loved from Cottenelle and Charmin Ultra Strong. When I first touched the Charmin Sensitive I couldn't believe my fingers. It was as soft as cloth. My first thought was there was no way it could possibly be absorbent or strong, and I'm glad to say I was wrong on both counts. Two sheets of the Charmin Sensitive does the job of 4 sheets of the Ultra Strong and 6 sheets of the Cottonelle.

To seal the deal, a recent house guest, after using the loo, came out and asked me what brand toilet paper I used because she couldn't believe how nice it felt. That had never happened to me before, and I'll admit, was a bit shocking, but I knew I'd found another winner.

My only complaint with the Charmin Sensitive is that the plies tend to pull apart easily. Although I love the overall quality, it's enough of a nuisance to lose a star.

5.0 out of 5 stars "heaven", March 25, 2011

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
My eight year old daughter discovered the new toilet paper purely by using it (she had no idea there was a new brand in the house) and announced loud enough to be heard from the toilet, "This toilet paper is awesome! - I mean Heaven! - can we keep getting this?"

I love aloe in facial tissue because it doesn't dry the skin even when I have a cold and use a lot of it. I don't know that dry skin is a problem with toilet paper but I do appreciate this toilet paper's soft, smooth texture and thick strength.

4.0 out of 5 stars Little bits = not quite five stars., March 22, 2011
This review is from: Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper Rolls 6 Giant Rolls, (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Toilet paper is one of those things you never really talk about with your buddies, comes up in conversation around the water cooler at work or generally gets much thought in most cases. Basically, if it wipes up the mess and doesn't tear me a new one in the process, I'm satisfied. As far as toilet paper goes, Charmin Sensitive is pretty pricey (over a buck a roll), so for most, the question will be whether or not it's worth the price of admission (and if it is really good enough to garner a five-star rating on its wiping merits).

I'll preface this by saying that yes, this is good TP. It's soft and works doubly well for use with your nose (in fact, if I was going to deem Charmin Sensitive as "worth the asking price," it would be so wholly on the fact that its soft enough not to irritate the nose of my 6 month old when we have to suction her nose with a bulb syringe). That said, its primary function wasn't as flawless as I was expecting. Maybe I wipe with a little more force than the next guy (I'm pretty thorough), but for me it left a lot of little bits and pieces where I don't really want bits and pieces of anything. This of course results in having to use more paper to make sure all is clear. The other major drawback in achieving its place among TP elite is that it's very thick, nearly cloth-like. This has resulted in the toilet being stopped-up twice since beginning use when I honestly can't remember the last time it had happened before that (no big deal though, the plunger was able to take care of it). Neither of these is all-that-negative, and could very well just be a reflection of how we're using it, but it might be something you'll want to take into consideration.

In the end (pun intended), Charmin Sensitive is high-quality TP with a couple of drawbacks. The "touch" of Aloe and vitamin E is nice and it's definitely soft enough to be used comfortably for a baby, which is a big plus for me. I could also see it being a great product for those who may be a bit more sensitive or have health issues where a softer tissue is absolutely necessary, but for what it is, it could stand to be a bit stronger. Between that and the asking price, my wiping will have to be downgraded as soon as this batch has run its course.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charmin Sensitive Giant Rolls 6 Count 209 Sheets Roll- (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls, December 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper Rolls 6 Giant Rolls, (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls (Health and Beauty)
It's the only bathroom tissue I'll purchase. I was very disappointed in how the package arrived. The box was not completely sealed and it had rained. Both ends had large openings. Thank goodness the tissues were sealed pretty good and didn't get wet. A+ for the product, D- for how the package was sent. It could only have been worse if I had to drive and get the product, and someone threw loose rolls at me from the door.

1.0 out of 5 stars totally overpriced..., February 4, 2012

Take a look at your area supermarket or Walmart, Target, etc...the price on Amazon, even with the subscribe & save, is WAY overpriced...period! They used to offer this one or the Cottonelle for about 35.00 delivered, and that was a deal...this is a total rip-off!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best.. but now please .. butt out, February 22, 2011
This review is from: Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper Rolls 6 Giant Rolls, (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
This is the best, bar none. Strong enough to T.P. your teacher's house on Holloween but soft enough for a baby. It's mankind's highest toilet paper achievement. If there were a Nobel Prize for toilet paper, they would get it. Five stars.

However, the Charmin people are not satisifed. They now have a campaign to sell me a second product, some wet wipe thingies, to use with the T.P. and improve and enhance my butt cleaning experience. Well, I have a request. Dear Charmin Folks: Enough is enough. You make excellent toilet paper and I've given you Five Stars. Now stop already. Please stop thinking about my butt. It's none of your business. You are annoying me. Butt OUT!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Toilet Paper on the Market, April 13, 2011
By
This review is from: Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper Rolls 6 Giant Rolls, (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I lived over the years in India, Spain and Bangladesh and realized early on: really good, soft toilet paper that resembles tissue is NOT a given.

Even in the US today some stores sell important that seem like they came from a sandpaper throw away bin. Yet others are so thin the roll vanishes in a seeming instant. Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper is about the best I've ever used. No, this won't be another cheeky review with lots of puns. But the bottom line on this toilet paper is: it's incredibly soft (softer than Charmin's Ultra), the roll lasts a long time and it has to be the best toilet paper on the market today. YES it is unscented. And I just moved into a condo with a low flow toilet and there is no problem with how it flushes. And it's plain, white. uncolored. I could never really understand in the old TV ads why Mr. Wipple couldn't stop squeezing the Charmin (I just bet he also had a bunch of bruised melons in his grocery store). But, quite honestly, with Charmin sensitive toilet paper you CAN understand: it is incredibly soft. When it comes to sensitive, super-super soft toilet paper, [Charmin Sensitive[ASIN:B002KT3ATW Charmin Sensitive Giant Rolls 6 Count 209 Sheets Roll- (Pack of 8) 48 Total Rolls]] wins hands down.
