5.0 out of 5 stars a royal winner, June 9, 2005

This review is from: Charming The Prince (Mass Market Paperback)
Sigh...don't you just love stories about far away kingdoms and a hunky royal ruler? This one's for you, then. Add a mysterious fog, a kennel full of royal canines and -- oh yeah! -- passion and love and it adds up to one thing: this one's a keeper.

4.0 out of 5 stars charming contemporary regal romance, February 15, 2003
This review is from: Charming The Prince (Mass Market Paperback)
Los Angeles Veterinarian, Dr. Francesca Charming travels to Llandaron, 100 miles from Cornwell, to tend to the royal Wolfhound, Grand Dame Glindaron. In the stable on her first visit to see her patient, she meets Prince Maxim, heir to the throne. They are immediately attracted to one another, but she fails to see the humor in his ruse of pretending to be a commoner.

Maxim's father places pressure on his son to marry. To elude his father's demands, Maxim selects the least desirable individual on the island, the outsider, Fran, believing that his sire would never condone marriage to an American commoner. Though Fran knows she is unsuited to sit on the throne, she falls in love with her Max. He reciprocates, but must decide between duty and love.

Fans of contemporary regal romances will enjoy CHARMING THE Prince, an engaging "fiery" tale. The lead couple lives up to her surname especially Max struggling between what he believes his country needs and what his heart desires. More so than Shrek, Fran is not a believer as "love is only true in fairy tales" and romance novels until she met Max. Readers will believe this novel contains the Wright stuff and look forward to the romance of Max's sister.
