About the Author

With backgrounds in construction and restaurant development Scott & Shawna Jones have worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs in various stages of business development over the years. They have also been active real estate and stock investors. There is an old adage that small business ownership is the killing field of the spirit. Scott & Shawna came to understand this early on in their first ventures and saw the need for duplication and controlled leverage. Scott has often said, "Business owners need a reproducible process combined with leverage to gain results that go beyond their own efforts." In 1994 they discovered commodity futures trading. This business combined both of these ingredients. After ten years of grinding it out in the futures markets they made a decision to stop - they stopped short term trading realizing speculation is a dangerous, high risk game. Through a comprehensive review and analysis of prior speculative market activities they redirected and committed their business focus to position trading with an investor's mindset. This brought financial rewards they had envisioned years earlier without the time constraints or the mental stress associated with short term speculation. Today Scott and Shawna study and trade on a regular basis. They also enjoy teaching others how position trading with a long term view of the markets can be a safe and enjoyable way to invest for exponential financial growth. Scott and Shawna Jones live with their two children in Northern Arizona.
