4.0 out of 5 stars An Unexpectedly Valuable Book, November 14, 2002
This is one of the best books I have read integrating price with volume and OI and trade mix .
It drives home most eloquently the necessity to consider all of the above in analysis and highlights the value of COT reports .
To sum up , one cannot be the same again after having read this book .

4.0 out of 5 stars Diffrent Angle On Commodities, January 21, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
this book is not for the beginner trader,
it requires a lot of reading and the language is sometimes hard.
nerveless, there is another perspective on commodities that
can contribute a lot to the reader.
the book teaches who are the main players in the commodities market
and how to select the right side.
The focus is on 3 diminsions: price, volume and open-interest.
there are no formulas in book [it gives rules] and you need experience and much
reading to build a system from it.
i would recommend this if you want to expand your knowledge
about the commodities market.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for period. Permanent in financial library, January 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have read Mr. Belveal first book "commodity speculation with profits in Mind." This was my first book on trading I am glad it was. Now to include Charting Commodity Market Price Behavior I can say my soon to be develop trading style will be at least 50% base on Mr. Belveal methods. Charting stock behavior is just what jesse livermore suggested studying volume testing the market getting a feel for the markets. Watch the big money and think before they make a move. That is what this book is about. Thank you.
