Durable brushed steel case is presented on the high-tech brushed steel and rubber strap. Unidirectional, ratcheted brushed steel bezel with engraved 0-60 markers. Sharp black dial with three subdials, tachometer outer ring and automatic date calendar at the 3 o'clock hour. Highly legible hands and markers feature an advanced Super Luminova system for continuous illumination. Chronograph features 1/20th second, 60-minute and 12-hour registers.

I've had this watch for about a year, and can find no fault with it. I have several watches, and I wear this one perhaps four times a week. I don't use the alarm feature, so I can't comment on its volume, but I was surprised to discover that the second hand is that tiny little dial down where 6 is supposed to be.

One caveat: adjusting the band involves cutting bits of it off with scissors, so you'd better be sure you want it a little tighter before you start cutting.

They have several colors available, and I keep hearing the black one with tbe yellow face calling my name...

I liked this watch so much that I bought it twice. My second purchase was the red face with solid flat black bracelet. The crystal is flat with minimal glare. The numbers and detail are shiny and crisp. Unlike the equally smart-looking black face version where the hours are a pale green, here they are a bright white. The alarm is loud enough to wake me for an early morning appointment (your experience may differ). The rotating bezel has a pleasing sound. The date box is easily read. It's hard to find fault with this entry level Chase-Durer wrist watch. Just remember to push the alarm function button in (off) when swimming.

Good looking, helps my husband to see esp at night given the numeric numbers in glow in the dark
nice size, although on the small side
too bad they made the band so flimsy and thin for such a nice face. And mixing the rubber material and the metal is not the most attractive, maybe because the rubber is a very light and dull gray.
Anyway, we like it and it works really well...just a little small and not the most attractive.
