Chase, the last standing single brother of the Westmorelands, is content with his life. Business is great at his restaurant, his family is good, what more could he want? Not marriage, that's for sure. His brothers may have fallen prey, but not Chase.

Jessica Claiborne is new to town. Along with opening a confectionary, she's looking to right a wrong from the past. And no one, including her sexy neighbor, Chase is going to stand in the way of that; even if that means concealing her true identity from him. Like Chase, marriage is not for her either.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Just how hot will things get between Chase and Jessica?

As always, Ms. Brenda did her thing. With Chase's story now told, I can't wait to see which Westmoreland cousin is next.

Brenda Jackson is ranked number two, on my, top romance author list. So far the entire Westmoreland Series has been a wonderful reading experience for me, and I can gaurentee it will be for you as well. What can I say except the book has plenty of hot steamy romantic experiences with tons of toe curling lust filled kisses...and other things as well. My only suggestion is not only should you buy this novel but please buy the entire series. Trust...you will not be disappointed if you're a true romantic at heart that loves and adores happy and tear jerking endings like I do.

Brenda Jackson brings us the seven Westmoreland book as she continues on her fifteen book series. We have seen Delaney, Dare, Thorn, Stone, Storm, and Jared all married but now its time to take a look at Storm's twin Chase can he break through his past to allow his future to succeed.

Jessica Claiborne had grown tired of always placing her morals in the law field at risk so instead of fighting she walked away and returned to what she loved and its cooking and the love of chocolate. After deciding to kill two birds with one stone Jessica returns to Atlanta to rectify the mistakes and assume her grandfather's name but when she get there she never expects to fall in love especially with a man who she know won't trust her once he figures out exactly who she is.

Chase Westmoreland had grown up and knew what his goals and dreams were that was until a minor accident made him reconsider his life and he found himself using his love of cooking to make a life but after what his grandfather went through and after what he went through he is very particular about his personal life and keep things very private but when Jessica Claiborne appears into his life Chase is willing to turn everything upside down to have what he wants so bad and what he wants is a relationship a casual relationship with her until he really gets to know her but when he finds out who she really is and how she is connected to her family's history from the past he overreacts and chance losing the love of his life.

Brenda Jackson takes you on the trials and tribulations of Chase and Jessica delicious yet provocative runway relationship as they find their love for one another.

And what a way to go, Brenda Jackson does it again. Although my all time favorite Westmoreland is Thorn, Chase is running a very close 2nd. I would clearly recommend this book along with the rest of the Westmoreland Series, I can't wait for The Durango Affair!! For true romance readers her books are like drugs, read one and you are hooked for life !!!!

Terrible book. This is the first Brenda Jackson book that I've bought where I had to skip most of the middle section as it was soooooooooooooo boring :-( and unbelievable, cringe worthy, implausible - oh - and annoying).

The part where he wants to share his family's 'secret recipe' with her after only knowing her about one week - right! That's when I got so annoyed at the foolishness I was reading that I put the book down. When I did pick it up again (the following night or so) it was only to read the last couple of pages, for no other reason than that I actually bought the book instead of borrowing it from the library!

If you like Brenda Jackson's other books - give this one a miss - and definitely don't make this your first Brenda Jackson book or you wont read any of her others, which (some) are actually ok.

I'm still a fan (just about) but I choose Beverly Jenkins over her any day (no dis-respect intended Mrs Jackson).

I love this book a quick read but worth it Chase was very sweet and a man that can cook mmmmmmmmmm! it was a treat, the best brother i think THORN O.M.G!!!! i cant even put my experience reading that book into words it was that good ......

Everybody has a different opinion when writting a review if we all had the same reviews or opinions it would be boring. Reviews can sometimes down play a really good book or up play a really bad book its up to us to read the book and judge for ourselfs and draw our own conclusion thats the best thing about a review its like a silent debate....

Brenda Jackson introduces us to another Westmoreland man to savor. And Chase was definitely worth it. What I'm finding with this series is that you can't stop turning the pages - I read this book in 3 hours. So far in the series, this is my 2nd fave. I would definitely recommend!!!

I love the westmoreland series. This book is a must read also just like the others before it. I can not wait for the next westmoreland book.

Brenda Jackson is a fantastic writer. Anytime you purchase a Brenda Jackson book, you are getting a great read.

The Last of the Red Hot lovers has fallen and fallen hard Cupid's bow found it's mark and then there was Chase Westmoreland
and Jessicca Clairborne as usual Ms. Jackson's passion for love and courtship has come thru again. Now all the brothers are happilied married time for the cousins Durango,Quaid,Ian,Reginald,Clint, Correy,& Casey's adventures and I can't wait to see what passion erupts from the rest of them I know it will be sizzling HOT
