Loved this song the first time I heard it, don't know why it took me so long to buy it!

I wonder sometimes if this song is on the soundtrack for any movie, because it truly is an emotionally moving piece.
Ruhama
I think it is a good song but you will have to listen to it for yourself to make that decision.

People like songs for different reasons. For me, a song that touches my heart always takes me to the time and place for which the song holds it's reason.

At the time this song was popular, I had just learned that two of my three dogs were terminally ill. Emmy, who had been with me for 13 years, laid with me night after night...till she left.

It may sound silly to rate a song based on the emotional involvement with a pet...but why not? She was a part of my life through many ups and downs...and I played this song at her funeral. This song will forever be a part of my playlist.

"All that I am, All that I ever was- is here in your perfect eyes...
They're all I can see".

Often, there are times a song can touch you simply from the heart. When it comes to Snow Patrol, they had struggled for years trying to make it happen in the underground scene. But, their breakthrough song, Chasing Cars from their album Eyes Open, was one of the most soulful songs released in 2006. I like this song because it simply comes straight from the heart, and is just a very simple song. I also hope they don't get classified as a one hit wonder either, the guys feel like they actually have something else up their sleeves soon.

That doesn't mean you will. Find it on youtube, then consider having access to it on your mobile device. I won't tell you that you *have* to get it, but the lyrics are nice and it's not a song about drugs or sex. It's appropriate for all ages.

I keep this song on my current "Mellow" play list. This version is my personal favorite. I wonder sometimes if this song is on the soundtrack for any movie, because it truly is an emotionally moving piece.

i actually BOUGHT this song thinking it would be a decent sonic quality recording, but I am horrified to see that it is just as distorted as the versions found in the soundtracks of youtube videos. look at the waveform in an audio or video editor and you will see a solid block of black from 2:50 - 4:05. nothing but overmodulated distortion. it hurts to listen to it. Amazon should be ashamed for SELLING such a horrendous product. Unless of course the original CD was recorded that way. and these days, who knows. Sure would be nice to find a properly modulated WAV of this song. THAT would be worth paying for. I feel ripped off at $1.49 for this crappy track.

I love this song. It's always nice to find the right person "before we get too old". I might already be there, but I still love the song.
