Like James Michener, author Mike Corrigan spends a lot of time building the depth of his characters which can deter from continuining on. However, the wait for the story-line to take off is well worth the wait. This book has multiple layers of seemingly disparate major dimensions which eventually come together like a beautiful jigsaw puzzle. I liked Corrigan writing abilities, although I had to look up too many words in the dictionary. Corrigan has real talent and look forward to his next book.
