Maple Bee is pretty cool, October 3, 2006

Maple Bee, currently a member of the Mediaeval Baebes, is very gifted musically. She plays numerous instruments on this CD and her songs reflect that she also writes well. Her music is somewhat unique and hard to categorize. It has depth, beauty, passion, and intensity, with an atmospheric variety of sounds. Unlike so many solo artists, she is not narrowly limited to one sound. Her voice can be pretty or passionate and gutsy, and her lyrics are thoughtful. She's also very feminine. One can hear some of her stuff at Maplebee.com. I can also say that I recently met Maple and she was very sweet to me. I liked her.
