3.0 out of 5 stars Nice music, crap voice
This is going to be a short but sweet review. The guy has some nice lyrics and music going on, but he just can't sing. Maybe if this music was written for a decent singer, it would be more famous and successful. But as it stands, it gets held back by his whining. Listen to the samples and you'll see what i mean.

3 stars anyway for effort!

Excellent writing and musicianship. My favorite cut is "Get Away." This album should be much better known than it is. Looking forward to his next release.

Buy it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sing Brotha !!!!!!, May 8, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chasing Forever (Audio CD)
One of the best CD's i purchased this year !!! My attention was first grabbed by the first single " love for a while" with Shanice ...This duet is magic**** and is still on heavy rotation in my player....Sleek harmonies and extrodinary vocals continue on "let's get away " and I'm coming home"... The stand out track for me was "chasing "forever" the combo of great lyric, vocal and arrangement... Being almost the male alter ego of Rachelle Farrelle and Nina simone i wish the set for this project was a few songs longer and more uptempo song...But at the end of the day, Jeremiah, u sing brotha !!!!! ure talent was far beyond my expectations..."it took me a minute now i realize I'm addicted to u "lol God Bless U

5.0 out of 5 stars An artist with heart, soul, truth and sheer voice, October 30, 2006
This review is from: Chasing Forever (Audio CD)
Jeremiah's incredible voice and soulful lyrics will penetrate your heart to the core. You can almost taste his sultry tenor which ebbs and flows to heights and depths beyond this earth. His voice and music are in the class of Luther Vandross and the incomparable, Donnie Hathaway. In his world, original melodies are sure to whet the appettite and leave the imagination yearning for more. Ever present, you are sure to find some blues, jazz, gospel, and classical influences. This divine effort is a labor of love and therein, a balm for the broken heart culminates toward a nostalgic desire for Home. In Chasing Forever, there is no trend, but sheer timelessness. It's insatiable.
