From the very first story, I found myself squirming in my seat, heart beating fast, yet unable to put the book down. Author Brandon is very skillful in creating suspense in scary story after scary story. This book is a must read collection for anyone who is a fan of the horror genre.

Original, excellent writing and themes here - truly hair-raising. Whether the evil is lurking in the form of a zombie hitman, a predatory ghost or a giant spider, these stories will keep you awake at night.

I've read The Missing Link by Brandon Meyers and Bryan Pedas and really enjoyed that book. I heard Brandon went out on his own and produced this collection of stories and decided to give it a go. The cool Easter eggs put into the first story instantly caught my attention. I love it when characters are used again in different time frames of their lives in different books and stories as it always adds to the experience of reading for me. I'm part of the way through this and I am really enjoying it so far. I would recommend this and the earlier Missing Link book if you like the tip of the hat to other works in your stories. Also if you want some good old fashioned humor I recommend checking out their blog abeerfortheshower.com. If you are a sensitive type that may not be for you.

I generally don't seek out horror stories, but this book was a nice collection of tales that will entertain you if you leave the light on. Meyers has a strong voice that will guide you through tales of uneasiness and leave you swiping through the pages.

The short stories are the perfect length to wind down before sleeping... Or is it?

I rather enjoyed this collection, and I usually don't read macabre pieces. The author has the ability to storytell wonderfully - I found it hard to stop reading once I started. Suspenseful and very entertaining!! I highly recommend this book!

This is a great read, funny and well put together. Darkly imaginative. Very creative! All in all a fun adventure!

I love short stories, they are one of my favorite styles. To me a well written short story really is a thing of beauty. This book is full of a lot of quick hits that are really well done. There are a couple that didn't quite hit the mark for me, this the 4 stars rather than 5. I devoured it on a plane and it was perfect.
