Pretty Fun,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Chatnow 2-Pack Flip Silver Communicators (Toy)
This is totally fun for playing outdoor games. Like Hide and Seek. My friend and I got these for christmas, (We split the price with the friend, it's a better deal that way :-) and we used to play hide and seek around our neighborhood at night. It's actually very useful for that kind of thing. We played it in teams so that we could use them, and we split up to find the other team. We found them everytime. And because we live in the same neighborhood, we also used them to talk normally. Now all of my friends are getting them for stuff like man hunt, and other fun outdoor games. And for just talking. The black and white screen is my only pet peeve, but here's a couple tips on using them...
-Buy the face plates and carrying case to make them look a little better. -If you're planning on getting them for you and a certain friend, split the price. It's a lot cheaper. -Don't try to make them out like cell phones. -If anyone makes fun of the antenna, just call it a fancy walkie-talkie. It's pretty cool. Trust me.

It's kind of Cool,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Chatnow 2-Pack Flip Silver Communicators (Toy)
I wasn't aloud to get a cell phone, so I went all crazy when I found out that you could get these little fancy walkie talkies to chat with your buds when you're away from your house, but to tell you the truth, these things are a little embarassing. All of my friends who do have cell phones made fun of me cause it's only got like a 2 mile connection, and the big antenna is the worst. Most cell phones today don't even have and antenna sticking out of the phone, so it was completely embarassing to have people looking and laughing at you, but with me, I just kind of laughed it off, and kept using it to talk with my friends who didn't have a cell phone. Because, the features are pretty cool. Such as..
Texting Chatting Animating Photos Friend Lists have all of their info in the phone ringtones screensavers But the low down on that, is it's all in black and white. It's okay, but, guys, don't get this unless you're just going to use it as a fancy walkie-talkie. DO NOT TRY AND SUBSTITUTE IT AS A CELL PHONE. I'm going to rate this as 3 stars, because it's just okay.

Fancy walkie-talkie,

This review is from: Chatnow 2-Pack Flip Silver Communicators (Toy)
I bought these hard to find glorified walkie-talkie's last year around christmas time. The first pair did not work. One of them was completely locked-up. Since my child was the first to get it amongst her friends, 3 more of her friends have gotten them. We were using a walkie-talkie, but this is way more cool for her age.
They are pretty cool and almost a year later we still use them alot. The pictures don't come out as nearly as what they show. The screen is lame in black and white. Don't think of it as a cell phone. I don't think it has a range any more than a mile. Overall, I think it is a good product for the price.
