I bought this phone for my children. They absolutely love it! They have imaginative conversations on the phone so they are getting practice with social etiquette. It's also nice if I have one of the phones and they are playing in the yard and I want to reach them without yelling. They use these phones all the time. They have much better reception than any walkie talkies that we've ever had. This would be a great gift for Christmas.

We got these for our 9 and 10 yr old sons for christmas. They have been carrying them every where they go. They didnt get anyones numbers since its christmas break, but just by using the chat feature have found friends from thier school on thier chat nows. What a great toy.

This toy is so cool! I'm giving one to my best friend who lives close to me. I wish it would go farther than two miles but,it was very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this toy/phone is awesome all my friends and i have one to keep in touch its the best thing ever if you dont have a phone (or are to young to have one) i would reccomend this to anyone only bad thing you have to be with in 2 miles otherwise it awsome

This is a great phone for kids or beginning conversationalists! It can take pictures and call people, as well as editing photos and texting. It connects pretty quickly, and the faceplates you can buy are very cool. The animations you can use for a screensaver are fun and of good quality. It makes keeping in touch fun! My friend and I got a set of two today and it's so much fun!

I have read the review's for this poduct..... Are we forgetting that this product is for a 8year-old?!?!?!
Over all this product is EXCELLENT! I wish when I was 8years-old I had one of these. What??? Are you comparing this "walkie-talkie" to a real, airtime, monthly fees CELL-PHONE! For what it is and what it can do for a 8year-old.... to me it is Christmas 2005 must have!!!

The one below is mine. I got this so called "phone" and to my suprise, it was terrible. Now, my friends think of it the same way. When I would ride to the library which IS in the 2 mile radious from my house (from my house to library: 1.61 miles) and I couldnt ask my parents to come pick me up! I had to borrow money from like 10 kids there in order to use the pay phone. The reason I rate this a 2 in fun is because it takes pics. Now, im wondering.....WHY WOULD THEY PUT A B&W SCREEN ON?? The pics are very blurry, and I could'nt even send them to my friends RIGHT ACROSS FROM ME!!! 2 phones??? No. 2 WALKIE TALKIES???? Its not all its cracked up to be. They are more toys than phones. Thanx for taking the time to read this!

This phone won't do you anygood if none of your friends have the phone. So, unless they get the phone you may not have anyone you can talk to.

This toy is so cool! I use it all the time with my friend Erica.You could text message each other and it even takes pictures .My parents bought it for me at christmas . They were happy because they did not have to pay a phone bill or for minutes! This toy is so cool ! Now i do not have to beg my parents for a real cell phone!!! I highly recomend for any one who is reading this to get this toy!!

me and my sister got these "phones" for christmas and they were great for about a couple months. but they can only go 5 miles. and our friends live further than that. I wish they could work further than 5 miles but if you live in a neighborhood they would be cool to have! The pictures are ok but what can you expect? there pixels. but if you hold your finger over the lends and point it toward the thing your taking a picture of, then take your finger away then they turn out pretty good :)
