I love Grace Livingstone Hill's books, and was happy to find so many of her stories for free or else inexpensively priced. This book, however, is just one long poem. I like poetry, but this is very long and I have not been able to get through it yet. It is not one of her regular story books.

If you are making a collection of all of Grace Livingston Hill's books--as many of us are--then this book should be part of that collection. However, the author was not so experienced a story-teller when she wrote this, and the quality of her writing is not quite up to the standard she later attained, and to which lovers of her work are accustomed. The book is interesting as the first published novel by this popular writer, and shows her work in an early stage of development. Taking it on its own, fans may find it a little disappointing.

Having possession of 100 of Grace Livingston Hill books, I was excited to see one available for my Kindle. I was very disappointed with the Kindle edition. Far too many errors to make reading this book enjoyable.

I grew up with her books - each one never fails to inspire and lift me up. I have read each of them over many times.

I have read Grace's books over the years, as she is my favorite author, but just discovered this first publication of hers and downloaded it to my kindle. This was extremely creative and imaginative on her part. Parts of nature's conversations have brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart! Just at 75% right now, but snuck a peak at the end, which confirmed the essence of Grace's entire story message - God is all around us in so many ways and is glorified above and through it all. This story reveals her deep love, honor and respect for the God of all creation. My heart is truly blessed by this publication!
