Great value for this product. Only problem is you really need more than one pin light and it is best in a small to medium size room. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

The perfect party in a box!
Everyone loves a good disco atmosphere, makes you want to dance until the wee hours...
One thing I would suggest if you are buying this ball though is to invest in at least one more spot light and possibly some colored filters. I have to use my directional ceiling lights to create the full effect. Fortunately I had those!
Fun fun fun...so worth it! Can't wait for the next party.

I purchased this orginially for a surprise "Prom" party for my then girlfriend. Long story short, we never got to attend the prom, so as a birthday surprise I recreated the prom right in my house. Needless to say that this added the winning effect. She was totally impressed and overjoyed with the experience. I also used this mutliple time since then for differnt parties and it has always impressed! I modified the motor and hardwired it to the light fixture and it has functioned numerous times with no issues. I would highly recoomen this to anyone wanting to get that good disco ball effect. I purchased some colored lenses for the pin light and those also worked like a charm. The weight of the ball itself is substatial, but that is expected being that it is made from mirrors. The motor is sufficient but I am sure their are better ones out there. I have never had any issues out of mine however. The cord on the pin light is short to say the least. So be aware that makes some uses hard to achieve. Overall I rated this the way I did because I have used it for years and its always great. I would definitely purchase this product again.

The company never delivered the light and mirror ball, which was supposed to be a present. When I contacted the company, they told me that they had mailed it and that they wouldn't offer a refund. Why would they treat someone like this? I'll heading to my bank to have them remove the charge. What a lousy company. Thanks for ruining a birthday present!
