5.0 out of 5 stars great for retirees, June 9, 2008

Although we love to travel, being on a fixed income has dampened our plans. What a surprise to be able to visit the City on the Bay and not go over budget! We saw plenty of city sights, ate at great restaurants and didn't go broke on accommodations. Wish we had this book years ago.

5.0 out of 5 stars I wish I had this book years ago, June 9, 2008
By Mirandom (San Francisco, CA United States) - See all my reviews
Ms. Solomon has found all the activities that are the reasons we love to live in a culturally rich city like San Francisco. She writes about some of my favorite spots, but also so many things I never found on my own. I wish I had read this years ago. Buy this book and plan to fill your calendar!
