5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, practical, and full of good advice., February 1, 2010
This review is from: The Cheap Bastard's Guide to the Good House and Home (Paperback)
I've never read a Cheap Bastard book before, so this one was a real treat. The author gives a lot of good basic advice for creating a home cheaply. From finding furniture through dumpster diving (and also classier methods) to food storage and how to best utilize your refrigerator, Josh Garskov writes with engaging humor. Highly recommend this book if you are seeking to improve your home whether it is through some light remodeling or a redo of paint, furniture etc.

Rena's sister (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Cheap Bastard's Guide to the Good House and Home (Paperback)
The (Cheap Bastard's) Guide to the Good House + Home is a lot like my older sister. Rena is fun, and she knows everything. Buy this book for anyone who doesn't have a sister like Rena.
