Just saw this gang at Austin City Limits Music Fest and liked them so much I picked up the cd and its as good as they are live. Really like the Laurel Canyon rock they dish.

Last October at Austin City Limits, I had an unexpected and powerful musical experience. I was drawn to the sound of some awesome rock and roll at a distant stage. There, I found The Henry Clay People rocking the crowd in the pouring rain. It was my most memorable moment at a 3-day music fest filled with blockbuster artists. I went to see The Henry Clay People again at Metro in Chicago a month later. These guys are the real thing: loud guitars, thumping rhythm, raucous vocals. This album captures it all.
