steam 59.99 while amazon is 53.99. So just buy here
and take keys to steam amright? Do we have to use steam
with this game? I already got it free though with nvidia 670card i think.

Yes, the game activates via Steam and yes, amazon currently has the best price. If you get the 4 pack, each one comes around $40 as well.

There are several GTX 6xx cards that come with a game code. You should receive the game code via email so you can activate it in Steam directly. One of my friends just purchased one and got in his email a few days later.

The cheapest place to buy Borderlands 2 is on Green Man Gaming with the coupon "GMG25-1BW0K-K1A3G", then you'll get the game for 36$

Thank you Kelvin. I never played the first Borderlands and I'm sick of Diablo 3 so I was trying to convince myself that I should spend the $60 on Borderlands 2 when I read your post. At $36 dollars it was a no-brainer. Already added to Steam and pre-loaded. Can't wait.

Warning out there to all, Green Man Gaming is infamous for abusing credit card numbers. I didnt have a problem with my first few purchases then I had over 8,000 USD charged to my card from them. Luckly my bank refunded me but green man gaming refused to work things out with my bank. The bank no longer does any transactions with Greenman nation wide after multiple problems like this.

GMG's 25% off code expired, but you can use this new 20% off one for $38.40 for the game and $24 for the season pass:

20% voucher: GMG20-AWDF9-Q1PEY

And if you are making a new account, use this link to get $2 off a future purchase:

Greenmangaming is completely safe and trustworthy to preorder and buy the game from. It's even on the list of certified retailers on gearbox's official forums on where to purchase the game found here.

You're fine with getting your game at GMG. I did and it's already been activated on my steam account.

I'm about to give up. I've been trying for an hour to purchase this game on Green Man Gaming. I keep getting a message that my credit card won't authorize the purchase, but I called my bank, and they see no record of me attempting the purchase, and they are not blocking anything. I'm sure the site is slammed, but is anyone else having this problem?

I did but i used a credit instead of debit and that worked but GMG is LEGIT i activated it on steam and im about to play it in 30 mins

It could be due to the extremely heavy server traffic they're having. They've posted a few updates on their facebook page regarding the issues, but they should be cleared now.

Also, some banks list it as a gambling website and automatically deny the charges. I used paypal for all of my purchases and didn't have any issues.

I continued to try for several more hours last night with no success getting through. C'est la vie. I'll just wait for the inevitable sale on Steam!

New code is up until 9/25/12:

And if you're a new customer this link gets you $2 off a future purchase as well:

That code above also works for *any* game, not just BL2.
