1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible
This book is a waste of money. After working with LCS since 2003 all the way up to OCS, I have found this book to be wrong for so many reasons. There is a point in the book that talks about adding 4 network adaptors, three on the same subnet. That alone is reason to avoid this book. I worked at MS and this is completely not supported.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good introduction, August 11, 2008

This review is from: How to Cheat at Administering Office Communications Server 2007 (Paperback)
This book is a good introduction to Office Communications Server 2007. Like many books of this nature, it really does not deviate from things that you could not learn by spending a few hours with the official documentation, but the information presented is in a good format and well written. A word of note, huge portions of this book are completely useless, just re-statements of various features and "oh my goodness, this product is so awesome!" hyperbole. This book really sticks to the basics, and does not talk much about details, troubleshooting, etc. If you just want a quickie "this is what it is, and how to set it up in a typical environment" book, this is a good choice. If you want something deeper, skip this one.

The cover of this book claims that you can download E-Book PDF version of the book from the publisher's website. The site doesn't have this book in the drop down list of available books, so you can't register for the PDF. I have received no response from the customer care email account that I emailed two weeks ago. Buy the OCS 2007 resource kit instead.
