Using strings & a Sitar might not be the most conventional instruments, particularly in a Rock song, but Richard Ashcroft makes great use of it on the debut release on his 2002 CD
Human Conditions. Whilst the CD in question didn't do much for me, this single did (and still does) over a swirling soundtrack, Mr. Ashcroft questions life, religion, and all things in-between. Solid
