Wazmo Nariz was an early "new waver" out of Chicago, my spawning ground. This song seemed so edgy, hip, trendy and fresh at the time (which it pretty much was since he was at the forefront of new wave). Unfortunately, with his exaggerated hicupping vocals, this sounds so outdated today that I can only enjoy it from a purely nostalgic point of view
