Excellent! As an in-classroom teacher, I very much appreciated that this book couched the formative assessment strategies in the context of research. Easy to read, easy to use, plus a wealth of references!

This book is a must have for any classroom teacher, support specialist, administrator, and curriculum specialist. In an era of standardized testing and out-of-controll pacing guides, this book reestablishes the goal of student success within the classroom. Lots of great ideas.

The text is assigned reading for a graduate education course. It is very cmprehensive and gives excellent examples of how to employ the tips and techniques in a real classroom setting. I will certainly keep it on hand once the course is completed to refer to in the future.

I am going for my Master's degree and I am currently in my second class and this book compared to the book that we had to read in the last class is so much easier to understand. It gets to the point while giving appropriate descriptions of Educational terminology. Highly reccommend it.

As a Director of Assessment, I find this to be a very helpful resource when working with principals and teachers to improve their practice. It offers many concrete applications of informal and formal assessment processes that teachers find work well in their classrooms.
