There is are support sections for the dozens of products that Smith Micro distributes on their website, but no support section for this specific product.

Downloaded the demo and ran it on my fairly new Vista system. The demo doesn't fix any of the problems it found, which is fine. (After all, they want you to buy the product.)

What bothered me is that the demo refers to every single one of the hundreds of things it claims to have found as an "infection" ...which is ridiculous. Most stray junk in the registry is trivial and harmless.

This dishonest scare tactic, together with the lack of support, made me decide not to buy it.

This registry cleaner only did small, partial job then required update
for more money. I tried to delete it and it keps coming back like a
virus. There was nothing on the container to indicate the disc would
not do a complete job of cleaning th4e registry. There are other better
products.

I paid for the full version from Compusa. Well, it is only a "trial" version which can not fix any problems. It could not be registered and the install did not ask for serial numbers. The help desk submittal system is a bag of maggots and does not allow help tickets to be submitted. They do not respond to emails. So, if you can not register, you are SOL. Compusa also refused me a refund, so I am stuck with a worthless product, out [...], and I am pursuing a fraud chargeback with Amex. Several hours and a major headache invested and nothing to show for it.

i ordered this product even after reading the reviews about people saying its only a trail version thinking they must be doing somthing wrong.when i ran it for the first time it does say its only a trail version but when you click the tab that says buy full version all you have to do is type in the product key found on the disk sleeve it comes in it upgrades to full version and it compleates the cleaning of the computer.
this is not a trail version it is a full version of the software

Let me first say that I have never had a problem with Amazon.
I did purchase the Check-it Registry Cleaner, and found it to
be very "unsatisfactory". I PAID for this product. I downloaded
it exactly per instructions. It ran, and came up with 600+ errors.
It cleaned the "first 50 errors" and then I got an offer to purchase
the "full version that will remove the remaining errors". I then
noticed at the top of the screen that this is a "trial version".
I paid $28.99 for a trial version?? I thought there must be some
kind of error, or that I might have done something wrong when I
downloaded it. I removed it from my computer, and started over.
I got the same result....."trial version". I recommend that you
avoid buying this product.

so i was wondering why my computer was slow. i tried a antivirus but didn't find anything. i tried this.and what do you know it made my computer just as fast as the day i bought it!!!!!!

id give this thing a 50stars!!!
