This book goes beyond most teacher devotional books. After an inspiring story on a given topic, this book gives teachers several opportunities to examine their thoughts and actions. It gives a variety of choices about things to do to broaden your effectiveness as a Christian teacher, even in a public school setting. I wish I had explored more of these ideas and challenges many years ago since I always want to improve my effectiveness in the classroom. This book will help me be more open to new ideas and be more innovative, even after almost 32 years in the classroom.

This book has helped me my first year of teaching. I really like to look at it when I need encouragement, inspiration, and comforting from the Word of God as I perform the job He has called me to.
