If you are not a Christian and don't like reading bible quotes, don't buy this book.

This book would have been so helpful for my husband when I was expecting. It is full of practical advice, funny stories and Godly wisdom. A father at any stage would really enjoy this book!

Composed in an easily readable tone and filled with handy checklists to help the prospective father be as ready as possible for his new son or daughter, "Checklists for the New Dad" covers a wide range of preparation from financial to emotional matters. "Checklists for the New Dad" is something to consider for the Dad with nine months (or less!) to prepare.

This book is full of great stories and tips for the new dad. I got my first copy about a month ago and it made me realize how much I could have used this book before my children were born. Since then, I have given out seven copies to friends and clients. Every dad should read this book.

I got this title along with a handful of other titles on becoming a dad, but this is by far the most helpful and inspiring. It has great information, practical and thoughtful. It's witty but also calls us to-be dads to man-up and grow a pair. I love this book and will definitely recommend it to all my soon-to-be buddies.

I am a father of 2. My wife and i are wanting a 3rd. I got my copy of "Checklists for the new Dad" and I will be totally ready for baby 3 when it comes.

I loved the glossary which brokedown a lot of words you think i should know after fathering 2 kids!
Prayers, scripture, and even recipes for clueless cooks like myself to be able to care for my wife while she's layed up!

Joe has really made fatherhood easier. I am a married father of 3 (Jackson is 7, Emily is 5 and Cater is 2 months) and I thought that I knew all there was to be a good father/husband. Joe really made me realize what I was missing out on, how I could make my wife feel more appreciated than ever, how I could make more time for all 3 of my kids. The checklists are a great way to track everything as well as make sure that in your hectic day you don't miss out on anything!

I would recomend this to new fathers as well as fathers that THOUGHT they knew what they were doing.

This is a great book for any guy who wants to understand more about being a parent and a better help to his wife. It's a great gift to include with a baby shower gift! Our neighborhood is experiencing a baby boom and I plan on giving a copy to each family. The book is a easy read full of basic information that will benefit a new dad and make the transitional time much easier for the entire family.

Check Lists for the New Dad is an amazing book! Its practical wisdom and useful information will help the reader transition into parenthood. It is an easy, enjoyable read. I hope Joe Deyo writes many more books!

This book was the perfect gift for my husband. When we found out a year ago we would be having our first baby we couldn't have thought of a better gift. My husband read the book front to back. We tell all of our friends who are new dads to buy this book. We've even given it to a few friends when they find out they're having a baby. A must read for all new dads!
