4.0 out of 5 stars I was there, too! December 1, 2011

This book was written by a MP officer who was assigned to Checkpoint Charlie when the Wall went up. It is a well written book from the point of view of a MP officer in Berlin. I was an Infantry NCO during the same period and our paths crossed several times during the period at Checkpoint Charlie. I recommend the book to anyone interested in background information to the period.
