R2-D2 Rotary Base - Our Checkpoint rotary Bases allows are Laser levels to perform the tasks that any professional contractor would expect. The R2-D2 is a double plate, compact rotary base system designed for use similar to the R2-D1 (880 Pro Series) and also allows you extended use on any tripod mount (1/2-20, 3/8-16, 5/8-1 1). The bottom plate is threaded to accommodate any camera/video or survey tripod. As with the R2-D1, this rotary base system has three adjustable legs and a bullseye vial system allow precision leveling and rotation from any given surface. A brake and tension system converts to micrometer type adjustment from the same thumbscrew. All components are precision machined from billet aluminum, aircraft anodized and laser engraved.
