5.0 out of 5 stars Downright hilarious! I LOVED THIS MOVIE!
There is no drug humor in this movie like in the other ones, but this movie is still hilarious. The humor is physical and stupid. You will laugh, you will cry, you will watch it over and overr again. The DVD of this movie is slim in features but its great. There is a trailer(s). The widescreen presentation is great (1.85:1 Aspect Ratio) and the full-screen version is good...

3.0 out of 5 stars Silly But Funny
Cheech and Chong's last collaboration was on this spoof of Alexandre Dumas' (The Count of Monte Cristo; The Three Musketeers) famous story. Probably one of their silliest films but their outrageous situations and gags keeps it fun.

The DVD of this movie is slim in features but its great. There is a trailer(s). The widescreen presentation is great (1.85:1 Aspect Ratio) and the full-screen version is good too. Check this movie out. This movie is more suitable for younger audiences than the other C&C movies. It is rated PG for language (there is some language) and some crude humor.

3.0 out of 5 stars Silly But Funny, August 13, 2004

Cheech and Chong's last collaboration was on this spoof of Alexandre Dumas' (The Count of Monte Cristo; The Three Musketeers) famous story. Probably one of their silliest films but their outrageous situations and gags keeps it fun.

Encountering a gypsy at a Paris cafe, Cheech and Chong are brought back to their past lives in 19th century Corsica as the Corsican brothers: a pair of twins who could each feel only the other's sensations. Determined to fight the depravities of the evil governor Fouquaire (yes its a double entendre), Chong is out to stop him at any cost with the help of his hesitant brother played by Cheech. Once in the palace, they must avoid the advances of Fouquaire's sexy mistresses while going ahead with their planned revolution. Will they succeed?

A rather silly comedy whose situations and jokes can only make you laugh. A lot of double entendre in the film with lines such as "He's trisexual!" Q: "Trisexual?" A: "Yeah, he'll try anything: goats, chickens, dogs..." Buy or rent the film and have a great viewing experience with the comedic duo of low-brow humor.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Cheech & Chong Movie, June 6, 2002

I was pleasantly surprised to see this movie show up on DVD. It's a riot, to me their funniest offering. Sure, it's slapschtick, but it works, from the goofy names they use (like the evil Fuchere) to the stupid stunts (like a piece of French bread stopping a guillotine). Chong has a decidedly different role to play in this movie compared to thier other stuff, and he pulls of the part well as the fearless rebel. Cheech also handles his parts well, from the practical brother to the gay hair stylist for the queen. Worth a million laughs, even if you are sober.

5.0 out of 5 stars Laughed my butt off!!!!!!, June 8, 2001

I am a die hard Cheech and Chong fan. I welcomed this change of pace which shows how funny they really are and not just a one joke comedy team. I've never understood why people are so closed minded when it comes to this movie. The dialog in this movie is probably the funniest of any of their movies and the sight gags are just as good. If you are too stoned to pay attention you will probably miss some of the jokes as there are so many. Pay attention and give this one a chance. Like all movies there are some obvious mistakes but they don't hamper the entertainment value of this movie one bit. Bring on the DVD. It's about time this movie came back.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheech and Chong's last ride, February 22, 2005
This review is from: Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (DVD)
This is an often hated movie, but I like it. I thought it was funny and creative. A non Cheech and Chong stoner movie, and lead Cheech on to do more non-stoner movies as well. A great parody of the French revolution, as told as only Cheech and Chong could. Hard to come by, no video stores around me have it.

5.0 out of 5 stars far out and outlandish, June 9, 2002
This review is from: Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers (DVD)
I own all movies and CD's of Cheech & Chong. Back then I bought the BETA cassette of "Corsican Brothers" and watched it many times. Recently I "had" to see it again because my young friend Valy Hofy (11 yrs) wants to see all their movies. Both he and me love this one as much as the others. And historical movies combined with humour in Europe are very seldom. r.kennel@krupsadvisors.com

This picture is a classic!!! I would think the studio that produced the film would put the video back on the market!! I would buy a couple copies today if they were available.

This was Cheech & Chong's at their best.
