Cheech Wizard is a big walking hat with moons and stars. He's a drug-smoking, booze-drinking, balls-kicking lecher, drawn by "The Cartoon Messiah", Vaughn Bode. This strip ran in the National Lampoon in its glory days, until Bode's untimely death in 1975. (Bode is also remembered for his Deadbone Erotica series and other adult cartoons in early 70's skin mags like "Swank", "Nugget" and "Gent".) No taboos are left unbroken in Vaughn Bode's world of scantily-clad zaftig beauties and horny, if ultimately unsatisifed lizards. You'll have to go over to THE CHECKERED DEMON by S. Clay Wilson to find sicker 70's underground comics than this.
