We checked this out from our library and my son really seems to respond to it. We like it better than Baby Einstein because it is real music not synthesized although I think my son likes the Baby Einstein as well.

I bought this CD when my girl was 6 months old. She really enjoyed the music and always smiled and laughed when I had it on. I liked it so much that I purchased the rest of the series. The liked the Playful Baby a bit more, but they are both worthwhile. My baby did not care much for the soothing CD, but they were all good and the best series I found after buying a couple of other CDs.
