Book Description

*** Attention! The price of this book will soon be raised to $5.99 ***

Cheesecake is an elegant dessert that most people purchase at a
restaurant or store because they think that it is too difficult to make
for themselves. The rich creamy texture packed with sweet, cheesy
goodness is just too perfect to be able to make at home.

That, of course, is not true. I have put together a collection of carefully chosen cheesecake recipes to fit any taste and given directions that even the least experienced of cooks can follow. You will find easy and clear instructions
and with every recipe I have also include how much time is needed for
every cheesecake: prep time, cook time and ready to serve in.

Here are some of the recipes included:

Sour Cream Cheesecake Deluxe

Lemon No-Bake Cheesecake

White Chocolate Cheesecake Supreme

Strawberry Delight Cheesecake

Blueberry Cinnamon Cheesecake

Mini Raspberry No-Bake Cheesecake

Chocolate Chop Oreo Cheesecake

Gluten-free Cherry Cheesecake

Creamy Ricotta Cheesecake

You will also learn:

Baking tips and ideas

How to prevent cracking of the surface of the cheesecake

How to create low fat and low calorie alternatives

A variety of cheesecakes are included:

Sour cream cheesecakes

No-bake cheesecakes

Fruit topped and filled cheesecakes

Chocolate cheesecakes

As well as some specialty cheesecakes for those on special diets like gluten free, vegan etc.

Me and my friends & family have been enjoying these recipes for a long time and I think and hope you will to.

Everyone can enjoy a little heavenly goodness in the form of cheesecake once in awhile!

Send me an email and let me know what you think, what you favorite
cheesecakes are and of course any suggestions or feedback are highly
appreciated.

Cheers,

Lisa

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't be fooled! April 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Amazing Cheesecake Recipes: Delicious and Mouthwatering Cheesecake At Home is the same cookbook with the exact same the table of contents (and same Chocolate Chop - Chocolate Chip typo) as Easy Cheesecake Recipes by Lisa Green offered for sale in March. Both inexplicably have the same copyright notice by Barbara Jackson (not Lisa Green).

These copy and paste recipe books are just not reliable. The books all too often include recipes with missing ingredients, incorrect amounts, or confusing instructions. You are much better off looking for good recipes on reputable websites which have been tested and even rated by other cooks. The "authors" are selling the same information that you can get for free and more accurately elsewhere. When they get exposed for what they are, the "authors" frequently re-issue the book with a new title and/or different author name.

Don't be fooled by the "get rich quick" copy and pasters.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not-Very-Amazing Chocolate Chop Oreo Cheesecake! April 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Grandma never ceases to be amazed at the number of cookbook "authors" these days who quite apparently have not only never tested their recipes or proofread them after they've "written" them, but sometimes make it clear they may not even be able to cook a lick. Such is the case with the Not-Very-Amazing Amazing Cheesecake Recipes: Delicious and Mouthwatering Cheesecake At Home from Lisa Green.

The book contains 21 recipes, each a marvel of the latest copy & paste technique. Lisa has indeed taken the time to provide "metric" measurements for the ingredients (Seriously, who measures 192 grams of sugar? Or 28.3 grams of butter? You need a scale with laboratory accuracy for that!) in "her" recipes and even took the time to add together all the sugar required for "Gluten-free Cherry Cheesecake", otherwise known as Gluten-Free New York Cheesecake from About: Gluten-Free Cooking. Other recipes Grandma found include Vegan Tofutti Cheesecake, otherwise known as Vegan Cheesecake at FOOD, and Creamy Ricotta Cheesecake, readily available from CDKitchen under the name Best Ever Ricotta Cheesecake.

Unfortunately, Lisa clearly did not take the time to actually test her recipes. Had she done so, she might have noticed that the filling produced by the recipes for Blueberry Cinnamon Cheesecake and Apple Dumpling Cheesecake is far too small an amount to fill a 9 or 10 inch spring-form pan. These recipes obviously began life as recipes for cheesecake pies, which use about 1/3 the amount of filling a cheesecake made in a spring-form pan will. Grandma also noticed a number of misspellings - "Chocolate CHOP Oreo Cheesecake", "granulate" sugar and so forth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book; great recipes... February 11, 2013

I'm a total cheesecake fanatic; and this book is more than enough to keep my addiction in check.
If you love cheesecake, you must have this book.
Beware, though; you do run the risk of watching your weight go totally off the scales...
