I am using this for an ASUS 26" 21 lb monitor. After reading the previous review I was very careful to follow the installation instructions which are adequate but leave a few details out. First, when you mount the thing to the wall studs use a level on the side of the base or it will probably end up slightly crooked. Next, the included allen wrenches are not discussed but are for tightening the tilt mechanism in the back. At first glance it appears there is a phillips head screw for that on each side, but not so. If you tighten the four allen screws mentioned above there will be no problem with the tilt adjustment. Having done all this I can say this thing is a real bargain. It works very well for what I am using it for and I would highly recommend it, especially if you want to get your monitor off your desk.

I had a Sony computer PCG281L. I called Sony twice and they told me the wall mount should be 100x100. This mount looked nice in the picture, and the price is unbeatable. So I ordered it rigth away.
The mount was delivered in 3 days. This was fast. Oh, gosh, the mount is too small. It was said that it fits 100x100, but it did not line up with any holes on the back of the computer. I had to take it off the wall, leaving two ugly holes there.

So frustrating...

Works quite well, but only has forward/backward tilt. No side-to-side tilt. Make sure your screw holes are level!!

The wall mount claims to be able to support 40 lbs when I bought it. Somehow it was changed to 30 lbs now. Anyway, it could not even support my Vizio 24", weighing 12.8 lbs. The monitor's weight could not be supported vertically as the flat screen hangs down to the right or left, whenever you pull the TV out. This made the mount unusable requiring return. I returned this one and purchased an another wall mount which worked fine. The new mount looks similar but cost over about $3 more. The cheaper price proved costly as I ended up paying more to the installer, and had to wait another 2 weeks for return and ordering new mount.

I had almost finished putting up the TV and were ready to compose a great review about ease of use and value for money- then I felt the sudden sagging of the arm. I tried again and that the TV still not hold up. I took the TV off, and tightened the bolts hard. then put the TV back -- the TV was still tilting down. The item description says these mounts hold up to 40 pounds. Mine weigh just over 10. The mounts might work for the tiny TVs only.

First this product looks similar to an mount I have that wore out after 9-years.

However, it is quite different, as follows:
1) There is only one nut to adjust the tilt and the rotation. This makes it impossible to set the TV in position. The TV never stay level.
2) The sags a lot once the TV is on.
3) After finally getting it installed, the TV does not stay right, regardless your effort.
4) After left 2 uglys holes on the wall, I returned this piece of crap.

i really like this mount..purchased for a 19 inch sylvania..there was only 1 problem with this..the screws were really cheap and were not holding well so i bought my own better ones

I just purchased a 19" LCD TV for the kitchen. Because it was high up on a shelf, the viewing angle was too much and the picture looked bad. This TV mount was just what I needed to allow the TV to tilt forward to minimize the vertical viewing angle. The price was very reasonable, shipping was fast and they were very willing to help me pick out just the right mount.

I bought this mount because the one I have only tilts +-15 degrees and I needed more. This one advertizes +-30 degrees. HOWEVER, it only tilts +- 15 degrees (in the instructions and actually.)

I know that a lot of people love Amazon based on its reputations. My advice to you would be to keep your eyes as Amazon sell junks too. This mount is one. Also note some seller is known to post reviews here in favor of itself. Be wary of reviewers who refuse to post under their real name. I'm a real customer, not an employee being paid to write reviews.

About me. A handyman of 46 year old, I love to do home improvements and repairs. I am a perfectionist and, I hate cheap products. I purchased this mount as its is not the lowest-priced item. While putting it on the wall I noticed that the TV stay loose and sag. Having had a lot of experience taking things apart and being very curious I had to take a look at what made the thing tick. It became very clear that the arm holding is to weak. Needless to say, my installation was not a pleasant experience.
