There were plans for a sequel to The Cheetahmen. Although completed, Cheetahmen II was ultimately left officially unreleased. However, in 1997 all 1,500 known copies of the game were located in a warehouse, and eventually put on sale on the secondary market. All copies of the game were reused Action 52 cartridges with some having a small gold sticker reading "Cheetaman II". The cartridge is very hard to come by, though numerous ROM images exist on the Internet. In Cheetahmen II the player assumes the role of one of the three Cheetahmen (Aries, Apollo and Hercules), and upon defeating an enemy boss at the end of the second level, they switch to the next Cheetahman for the following two levels as in the Action 52 version. Due to a bug, it is impossible to gain access to the levels in which one assumes the role of Cheetahman Aries without altering the ROM image or being the lucky recipient of a glitch that very rarely starts the game on these two levels. Cheetahmen II is famous for its lack of quality; it is reputed by many in the gaming community to be nearly unplayable, and was rumored to have been produced extremely quickly, with no debugging attempted. Like Action 52 it was not licensed by Nintendo.

Ok, let's face it, this game sucks. It sucks bad. It's not a finished game and is pretty much unplayable. But that's irrelevent. No one is going to buy this piece of crap game except as a collector's item, and they're never gonna play it anyway. However, I've seen new, unused versions of this game on Ebay for less than this. Pays to shop around. Be advised that if you really want to play it it's available on NES emulators for free. You can even find it for Android. That said, the original cart is very rare and will probably only go up in value.

If you have (Unfortunately) played Action 52's terrible Cheetahmen game, then you know what to expect for the sequel. The sequel has been claimed as an entirely rushed game, or they probably just forgot to finish it.

It has pretty identical gameplay to the previous game. And that is not a good thing.

The game would end at level 4 (Or level 5, since there's....2 levels 3s), mainly because you're stuck after you beat the boss there. What can you do to escape? Depends on whither you're talking about the game or the level.

The level: Nothing. There's no escape other than to turn of your NES.

The game: Definitely turn off your NES.

This game is one of the WORST games,but it's one of the rarest! The makers didn't even test this game,and has some of the worst glitches ever! Buy it if you can because it's a Gem,you may not see one for sale again! I have one but I would NEVER play it.
