this is a very good cd for fans of south park. however, if you REALLY want to hear the music, get the extreme version, because this is still edited.

Let CHEF soothe your soul., July 20, 1999

Let us admit one thing, that South Park rocks! If your a huge S Park fan, you probably already own this but if youre just now getting into it, like me, you will probably want to check this out. Highlights of Chef Aid are the classic Primus theme, the Chef songs, Cartman's song, and everything else involving the South Park kids. Everything else is cool, except for Puff Daddy and Master P's appearance. I think they could have gotten better rap artists but nothings perfect right? Anyway, hear it for yourself or just go buy it. If your a South Park freak, you'll find a way to like it.

It's good, but you should buy the extreme version, May 15, 1999
By A Customer

While this version of the CD is good, amazon and almost all the reviews have failed to mention that there are 3 versions of this CD. Clean, explicit and extreme. The explicit version is barely above the clean version

If you are a big fan of rap and like seeing Kenny die every episode then liston to Kenny's dead by Master P. Hearing the kids in Bubble goose made me crack up. The funniest parts on the cd is hearing Sid Greenfield and Matt Stone arguing cduring the song Horny.

Chef Aid is Hella Cool!, December 27, 1998

What can I say? It's been written already either you will love this cd or hate it. I happened to love it. I'm just wondering how Trey & Matt as producers of this album happen to come up with some of these singing duos. Rick James & IKE TURNER?? I listened to this cd on the drive from Dallas to Austin banging my head and singing along the whole way (and no doubt getting weird looks from other drivers!). If you like South Park, you will LOVE this cd.

Come sail away with me, you guys!, October 20, 2003
This review is from: Chef Aid: The South Park Album (Television Compilation) (Audio CD)
This CD documents a concert given in support of South Park's own Chef. Chef hosts the concert, and he also sings a few of his greatest hits. The concert features a wide variety of performers. There are rappers, punks, hard rockers and even Elton John! Not all of these performers will appeal to everyone, but all of them do turn in good performances. My favorites here are the performances by South Park residents. Chef, of course, is great, especially on "Chocolate Salty Balls". Eight year old Eric Cartman sings "Come Sail Away" with a maturity beyond his years. And Ned Gerblansky sings "Feel Like Makin' Love" with a lot of soul. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend this concert in person, but at least I can enjoy this recording of it. And you will enjoy it, too!

Tonight is right for Love (With Meredith Baxter-Birney), July 26, 1999

Chef Aid is worth the buy. This very funny record includes "live" intros to each song by Chef, not to mention a selection of his greatest hits, like the title above my review, which he performs with Meatloaf. Cartman and the gang join the fun as well, along with Ned, Primus, Rick James w/ Ike Turner, Rancid, Wyclef, Devo, and Elton John? Buy Chef Aid and play it with someone you love.

Kick @$$ dude!, June 15, 1999

This review is from: Chef Aid: The South Park Album (Television Compilation) (Audio CD)
This cd is so cool because The Chef can make anyone you know feel self conscious about their sexuality. The cd is good anyway because it has some really funny songs like Horny and rainbow, which is about homosexuals. There are also serious songs like Will they die 4 you and Nowhere to run. I highly recommend the extreme version because this one is edited.

The CD is the best I've heard in a long time. I think my favorite song on this CD is most defitely Come Sail Away sung by Cartman. I only wish in the samples you could hear the whole song in samples instead of just a clip. I LOVE AMAZON!
