This waffle maker is the rotating sort that allows the batter to cook evenly and create the fluffiest, crispest kind of Belgian waffles. It makes round waffles, which somehow, at least to me, seem more elegant that square ones--maybe because they fit on a round plate.

This waffle maker comes in at a very reasonable price point and it works fine, but there is one "gotcha" to watch out for. You get what you pay for, generally, in this world, and since rotating waffle makers generally cost a lot more than this one, there are some trade-offs. In this case, it's the handle. The handle is seems thinner and weaker than it is on higher-end rotating waffle makers, and it tends to catch sometimes, when you are rotating the waffle around.

This is an inexpensive version of the rotating Belgian wafflers that make excellent, light waffles.

The details:
Rotates 180 degrees
Has adjustable temperature control to set light and dark baking
Surface is brushed stainless steel
Makes one 7" round waffle with deep depressions per baking
Indicator light indicates it is at baking temperature (this is NOT the "waffle is baked" light--merely connected to a thermostat that tells you that the plates are at temperature for pouring on your batter.)
Fold away for storage
Drip tray underneath

Summary: this is an inexpensive rotating waffle maker. But its handle is somewhat troublesome, and it's not as heavy gauge or durable-looking as more expensive models. If you occasionally want a Belgian waffle and don't want to spend a bundle, this is a good choice. If you plan frequent, heavy use, and want a higher quality product, I would suggest the

This waffle maker completely changed my daily breakfasts.

I received this waffle maker as a gift a couple of weeks ago and have used it almost every day.
The waffles always come out perfect and taste delicious.

I was so excited to see this waffle iron for a black Friday sale. I purchased it for my boyfriend. We got all the ingredients together for a waffle brunch one morning, and upon opening the box, we quickly realized the entire front of the iron was made of plastic and broken all the way through. It is a cheap piece of garbage, and I will never purchase this brand again. Very disappointing.

Not sure if I got a bad one or what, I don't think so. It just doesn't work, won't cook waffles even close to properly.

It came broken into pieces, nothing else to say. It looked used and wiped clean before being sent. Waste of money.

Waste of money. Took more then 20 min to attempt one waffle and it still wasn't right no matter the temp.

Never really worked... Just didn't heat up the waffles evenly but I got it during a time when we didn't get to use it much and now it appears broken... Oh well.

I really like the Waffle Maker, but it takes 6 1/2 minutes to cook each waffle. By the time you get all of them cooked, the first ones are cold. The 2 recipes that came with it are not good. I found my own recipe at A Taste Of Home. The BEST. Another reason that I like it-------- when I get the the mix ready, my husband does the cooking, and he doesn't normally cook. By trial and error, it takes 2/3 cup to make one waffle, but the instructions do not give a measurement. It brown pretty evenly on both sides. All in all, the only problem I have it, is the length of time to cook.
