This was a nice piece of equipment, until the handle broke after only four months. The design is cheap. Once it is broken, you just throw it away because it can't be fixed. I would recommend something else that is a little better designed and won't break after a few months of normal use.

I have bought this product twice now - once on Amazon, and the second time at a store. The first time it broke within a couple of weeks. Thinking it was my mistake, or that I had bought a lemon, and because I liked its look so much, I saw it in a store and bought it again. It broke again, exactly in the same place - the part that you press to grind the pepper - again in a matter of weeks! If there was a rating less than one star - maybe minus five stars, this piece of junk deserves it.

This is an attractive grinder and the coarseness for the pepper grinder is very east to use. It's a little hard to fill though.

This shaker has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has seen it. They all say it is beautiful. It is a little awkward to refill with pepper (it must be tilted on its side, possibly spilling salt everywhere!)

I have had several of this type of salt & pepper mill. This one is very easy to fill. The top pops off to fill the salt and the pepper fill is easy also. The adjustment for the way the pepper is ground is good, too. It looks good, and works great. Different colors are a plus!

I really like this S&P. It very useful, stylish and easy.

I won't know what to do if it ever breaks. I hope they never stop making it.

Have had one for a couple years. The old one did break after much use. The plastic lever cracked. Still very handy and relatively inexpensive, even if it has to be replaced every couple years. When our old one broke we looked at others, but came back to the same one. Like it alot.

We've had this grinder/salt shaker a little over a year now. It still works great, and we love it. Among combo types, this one is the easiest to fill of what we've owned, even though the hole for the peppercorns is somewhat small. I put tape over the salt shaker holes before turning the unit on its side to fill the pepper, and a funnel works well for the peppercorns. We've had no problems with the salt not coming out the holes or with it gumming up. It's currently filled with fine grind sea salt. We love the one-handed operation and the easy way to adjust the size of the pepper grind. Our guests usually comment on it, too. In short, it was a good buy for us!

I really like the pepper grinder, but the salt doesn't come out very well. I might have to make the holes a bit larger.

This is a very convenient 2-1 grinder/shaker. However, the part that you press to grind the pepper broke after about a year (I used this product very sparingly so it wasn't from excessive wear and tear).
