Product Description

The GarlicZoom™ is a compact and convenient garlic chopper. With its whimsical design gadget chops garlic cloves into uniform chunks, ready to add to tonight’s dinner! To use this unique gadget, simply fill with peeled small to medium sized garlic cloves through the top chamber. Next, roll the GarlicZoom™ around you kitchen counter; little ones will love helping with this part! Finally, open the second chamber, safely remove the blade and empty the garlic. Perfectly chopped garlic is ready in seconds. Trust us, your hand will be grateful (no more smelly fingers!) and your recipe will be perfect!

Using my fingers is the easiest way for removal of the minced garlic.
Jean B.
The blades are not sharp enough to chop a clove of garlic, so the wheels do not roll, causing the thing to leave black, rubber skid marks on my counter!

It's a fun doodad that actually works and is in some ways nicer and easier than a press.

We use a lot of garlic on a daily basis in most of our dinners. This was a cute gadget we got for a gift, and I was curious to see if it worked better then my other garlic chopping methods.

For a REALLY big lot of garlic, I use my Ninja Food Master Prep. Otherwise for everyday cooking, depending on the size I need the garlic, I will either use a microplane which is fast and efficient, or a good sharp knife. I personally like to do chopping and prep work, so I didn't neccessarily need a "garlic gadget".

While this item works fine, it only does a couple cloves at a time, and seems like a total pain to scrap out over and over. If it was larger, it would make sense. It might be a nice accessory to have for someone who only likes a hint of gasrlic, but for the garlic lover, look elsewhere.

I honestly think that the people who gave this thing positive reviews work for the company that makes it or something. This product *does not work at all whatsoever*! One reviewer hit the nail on the head when s/he described its "scooting" action, which it does with aplomb. If you want something that does the job much better, no fuss, no issues getting the garlic out of the ridiculous chamber, actually creates evenly sized bits (my 4 year old niece cuts more uniformly sized pieces), buy a garlic press. Any garlic press. You could pay me and I wouldn't use this thing.

I wanted this to work, I really did. It's so cute! How could you not love it?

Well, it doesn't actually cut garlic. At all. It can get a blade about a third of the way through, then it just kind of scoots along the counter, pushing the clove in front of it. No increase in speed or pressure will power through.

It's a pain to clean, too, but since you'll probably only use it once before giving up on it, that hardly matters.

I bought this b/c it was cute and I thought it might make chopping lots of garlic easier. It's more work using this then just chopping by hand. It gets jammed up easily. It's hard to get the garlic out and so much garlic is stuck on the blades, inside parts, against the walls that it wastes a lot. I would say you get half as much garlic as you would if you chopped the same amount by hand. Then to make it all worse, it's a pain in the butt to clean. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars rather than 1 is b/c it's cute and b/c the garlic you do get from it is chopped up well.

You will love this little gadget and you will want more to give to friends who love to cook. This is an ingenious chopper that minces fresh garlic perfectly. I would much rather use fresh garlic in recipes but garlic presses are too hard to squeeze and often leave wasted slivers. This little gizmo is easy to use, easy to clean and small to store. Throw out your garlic press and get a Garlic Zoom. The only slight problem with it is that you have to swipe out all the little pieces that may get down in the crevices. If I am cooking with liquid, I just rinse it into the pot with water or stock or whatever. Otherwise you will have to shake it hard or wipe it out with a small utensil.

This is the BEST product for the kitchen to come a long I think ever!!! I used to buy the pre-chopped/minced garlic in the jar and keep in the fridge. This has made it so handy to use fresh garlic-that I have stopped buying the other garlic. Plus it is better for you-no additives/preservatives-because you are using fresh garlic. I just rinse it out after I use it and it is ready for the next meal! The one I bought here on amazon.com was a gift for my son-I had bought one in a small shop about a year ago and love it! I did only pay about $7 for mine, but was happy to pay more on amazon.com for the gift-as it is well worth it.

While I did not purchase my Garlic Zoom from Amazon, I wanted to offer a glowing review for this neat little kitchen device. I is the greatest way to chop up garlic! It is super easy to use, minces garlic buds perfectly and is very easy to clean. This is certainly a must-have kitchen tool if you ever cook with garlic.
