Amazon.com Review

From happy hour margaritas to the next morning's o.j., this cute and clever Juicester citrus/reamer by Chef'n handles the job. Simply press any citrus fruit onto the top, and contoured large and small reamers efficiently cut then thoroughly extract the juice. The sides of the tool are see-through and clearly marked in cups, ounces, millimeters, tablespoons, and teaspoons for easy at-a-glance measuring. When it's time to serve, a double strainer catches both pulp and seeds. The juicer also features an ergonomic SavvyGrip(r) handle for comfort and a no-slip base. With its fun space-age shaping and asymmetric accents in a bright orange hue, this is a perfect tool for a mod entertainer or hip kitchen décor. It goes safely into the dishwasher on the top rack. --Kara Karll

Product Description

Juicing up the world of citrus! Chef'n has made your favorite juices easier to drink. With specially contoured small and large reamers conform to the inner shape of the citrus. Sharp top edges quickly dig into fruit while lower rounded edges gently juice with minimal effort. The Juicester has incremental measurements in cups, ounces, millimeters, table spoons and teaspoons. The dual strainer system screens pulp and seed when you juice and when you pour!! Chef'n began twenty years ago based on the principle that kitchen products could be a lot smarter, easier and more fun. Right from day one, Chef'n found an audience hungry for its brand of Tasteful Ingenuity. Today that legacy lives on with the precision refinements to acclaimed inventions, new technologies, design techniques, and entirely new products for 2006.

This juicer/reamer just rips right into the fruit to deliver pulp- and seed-free juice with ease. The design of the reamer grooves make juice extraction simple and very easy on the hands. (i.e., you don't have to be Hercules to effectively extract the juice) Easy to clean, double strainer and spout for pouring. The base has a non-slip surface ring and measurements in both metric and conventional. I looked around for the right hand juicer and am very happy with this one.

Terrific kitchen tool April 25, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase
I have been mixing cocktails lately and looking for something quick and efficient for juicing citrus fruits. I tried a wooden reamer and ended up with juice all over the counter. I bought an old-fashioned plastic juicer that screws down on a glass jar because I'd had one before. The new one leaked whenever I tried to pour out the juice. The Chef'n Juicester turned out to be perfect for my needs. I particularly appreciate the fact that it comes with two sizes of cores; the smaller one is perfect for limes and small lemons, while the larger one is perfect for oranges and other larger citrus. It has a non-slip base and cleans up very easily.

EFFORTLESS TO USE November 14, 2007
My family has always been used to using non-machine juicers and this one that we were at first reluctant to buy, is so easy and requires little or no effort to get juice out of citrus. We use it everyday and true to it's description and features, it extracts all the juice and the non-slip base is very good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good citrus juicer.
