The Chef'n Mini Magnetic Salt Ball has an unusual, one-handed design unlike the typical hold-and-twist motion of most grinders. Two soft-grip handles squeeze together to activate the grinding mechanism. As a result, it takes less motion to grind the same amount of salt as it would with a conventional grinder. In addition, shaped like a bunny head with two big floppy ears, the whimsical ball livens up any table setting.

The body of the Mini Magnetic Salt Ball is constructed of sturdy, clear plastic with "rabbit-ear" handles made of soft rubber grip pads A durable ceramic grinder mechanism is adjustable to five coarseness levels--a small knob on the underside turns to the right for coarse and the left for a finer grind. An easy-slide refill window on the side of the Salt Ball makes replenishing the salt supply a snap.

The Mini Magnetic Salt Ball has a strong, built-in magnet for easy storage on refrigerators or other metal surfaces. This handy feature plus the size of this grinder make it very portable. I have small hands so the Chef'n Mini Magnetic Salt Ball, Black Handles and Black Pads is an excellent addition to my exercise routine. 15 minutes per hand works up a terrific sweat and my cardio routine is ready to go. I am all set to move on to my sugar leg pulls. I'm thinking of buying the Chef'n Mini Pepper Ball next. Awesome product!

I have purchased 2 of these...one from Amazon & one from a local store. Each time one of the ears breaks off and can't be used. I have the salt ball like this and it doesn't have that problem. Must be the pepper is too hard to grind..
