5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great!
I just bought a bunch of these for Christmas gifts. I've enjoyed using my friend's. The true test came when I went to peel a butternut squash. It took the first layer off with no effort whatsoever, and I only had to go back once to take a little more off. With a regular peeler, I had to do it two and three times. Incredibly comfortable in my hand, too.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hard to see what your peeling...like maybe your finger
I'm glad that the other reviewers are loving this peeler, but I was so disappointed. When you're using it, you can't really see where the blade meets the food. For me it made it terribly difficult to peel anything without missing parts. I was also terrified that I would peel off part of my finger along with the skin of whatever fruit I was holding. I usually like the...

4.0 out of 5 stars Innovating product that makes peeling a breeze, August 6, 2006
This review is from: Chef'n Palm Peeler PP CDU (Kitchen)
I came by this item online and decided to check it out in person before buying. Guess what! I bought it on the spot. The peeler fis neatly in your hand, irrespective of the size of your palm. It is extremely easy to use and makes conventional peelers look like clumsy dinosaurs. One area for improvement is the blade itself: it could stand a little sharpening.

I already have four peelers and the last thing I thought I needed was one more. But it got rave reviews and for $5...

Because this fits on your finger, it acts like an extension of your hand. Imagine you are stroking the surface of a rutabaga (ok, that sounds weird) -- and the peel comes right off! That's what it's like to use this peeler.

Very sharp (be careful -- don't ask me how I know!).

I just got this peeler for a gift and I just used it to peel yams; at first it just was not working and I thought oh well, a good idea, but just not a great gadget, then...I realized I was being a complete ditz, I had not removed the saftey strip off the blade! ;-)lol. I proceeded to peel 4 yams in just a couple of minutes with no strain on my hands. It peels perfectly and effortlessly!!!! I am definitely going to be putting one in everyone's stocking this Christmas!!

5.0 out of 5 stars This thing is FABULOUS., October 3, 2007

I don't write a lot of reviews, but when I saw this on here with none, I had to write one. I bought this at a store (you know the one..has stuff for your bedroom, bathroom, and more..hehe), and when I put it in my hand, it felt nice and comfortable, but that of course says nothing of its peeling abilities. And $6, when I have 20 other peelers at home...ehhh, should I or shouldn't I?

Needless to say, I did, and gosh, that was a fantastic choice. I never use any other peeler. The blades are still sharp (I bought it in December..you know, Christmas shopping, and then whoops, most of the stuff is for me!), it still peels better than any other peeler I have, and couldn't be more comfortable. I love this thing.

Now I'm eyeing up the vegetable brush of the same design, and have the same "should I or shouldn't I" dialog running through my head. I'm betting I'll do it, and it'll probably be another fabulous purchase... I'll let you know. ;)

I gave my wife one in her stocking at Christmas. She loves it, and so do I. Great design, easy operation, comfortable, and cool looking. What more can I say?

Very easy to use and comfortable. Would be especially effective for those with arthritis as you don't have to have a firm grip. Sharp two-edged blade with just enough swivel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, November 27, 2008
bought one of these at a outlet store. Used it while cooking Thanksgiving dinner. It is wonderful. Don't know where the last reviewer got a list price of $75, but 7.50 or less would be fair.
