This set of ultrasharp knives covers just about any slicing and chopping task you'll have on a daily basis. Fully forged from a single bar of ultrahigh-carbon stainless metal alloy, each knife features a molded-on black molten polymer handle. Made from a unique alloy called Trizor steel, each blade has a higher carbon content than other kitchen knives, giving it a higher tensile strength, which makes it stronger and more resilient. The full-length tang (the metal continues all the way through to the end of the handle) means you get a better-balanced and stronger knife. The ultrasharp blades come out of the box two to three times sharper than those of other brands, and the edges last up to 10 times longer. Even so, the blades can be sharpened with conventional sharpeners. Molded-on handles are safe in the dishwasher, but hand washing is recommended to keep steel blades scratch free.
