This is the stupidest design. The first thing I did when I took this out of the box was to remove the cardboard label. A little corner of the cardboard ripped off and got stuck in between the handle and the scooper. The handle does not sit flush on the scooper so things can fall down into the handle. But it's not a big enough gap to get it back out once it's fallen in. I can just imagine chopping an onion into little pieces, scooping it up and having some of the pieces get caught in the handle and left there to rot forever. Who designed this thing anyway? I sent it back and will look for a something solid.

Would not buy again, but only because I know now what to look for and not that I am entirely disappointed in the product.

The curved handle has a significant gap that opens into the cylindrical part which can easily be home to random particles of food that, once in, won't be coming out.

I wouldn't buy a scraper with sides again. I initially thought it would be good to prevent food from falling off, but then realized it just makes it harder to get food on because the sides reinforce the product and make it so that you can not bend the metal sheet and actually do any quick scraping and scooping.

Love the food scooper. Wouldn't want to be without it! I bought several to give to my children because they threatened to steal mine!
