I bought this dresser because it matched the crib that I wanted. I also liked the product description that stated "solid wood construction." That is simply NOT true. The first time we put this dresser together only one of the 4 drawers held. I had to email the seller to get new parts (which was simple, one plus from buying these products). The new parts came and we tried again. The drawers sort-of worked until I put a few of our baby's clothes inside then, the drawers buckled under the weight. Mind you the "weight" was 10 oneies in one drawer and 6 pairs of newborn pants in another!!!! My husband finally just got so fed up that he put screws through the face of the drawers. That helded for about 3 weeks. Then they fell apart again. I called the manufacture again and she told me they have never had a problem with this particular dresser.... I find that hard to believe. Anyway please don't waste your money. I will be going to buy new furniture for our 3 month old baby because this was such as waste. The Chelsea changing table is also NOT solid wood construction but seems to be holding up slightly better. Though the drawers will only hold burp clothes ABSOLUTLY nothing heavy. But the Crib is beautiful and well made.
