Chemex coffee filters are the filters needed to use for the chemex carafe.
In my opinion, and I have been drinking coffee since I was 13yrs old,and have tried and used many different coffeemakers and espresso machines throughout the years, this is the BEST.
I did experiment with the other filters, as I was out and waiting for these. I had to use 2 and the full body flavor of the coffee wasn't there entirely as it is with the chemex filters.
They are also great for any other coffeemaker, I am sure.
I highly recommend these, there are many in a box, and are perfect for that wonderful cup of coffee anytime during the day.

If you like your coffee free of grounds of ANY size, Chemex filters are the way to go.

Brewing with a Chemex coffee system takes a little longer than with an elec. perk, but the coffee is worth it. There are no grounds, the taste is pure, and disposal of the cone filters is easy.

If you visit Costa Rica the traditional way to make coffe is by pouring hot water through a muslin cloth filter and straight into a clay pot ready for serving. The method yields a clean flavor and by far the best tasting coffee you will ever have. The Chemex system is as close as you'll get and provides equally superior coffee. Even standard brand coffee with taste better by using this system-

Coffee also has substances that simply taste bad. We normally think about just keeping the solids out of our cup. There are many more things that can ruin the product of good beans properly roasted and clean water at the right temperature. I don't claim to know what they all are, but one for certain is oils. Chemex filters capture the oils that can spoil the taste and spoil the coffee itself. I know you purists will scoff, but I love coffee. Sometimes I don't finish my cup of commute coffee and leave the cup on the dash. If I've parked in the sun, I can come out after work to a couple swallows of hot coffee that still tastes fresh...the oils that go rancid are missing from Chemex coffee. It also holds very well in a vacuum carafe.

My son-in-law has some very expensive coffee machine. He was marveling at how great the Chemex coffee is from my old school pot compared to his machine. The filters not only capture the undesirables, they also control the pace of the brew. It's important to sloooow down the brewing to squeeze all of the good out of the beans.

Get a Chemex pot and some filters and you will taste the best coffee you've ever had - every day.

Over the years I have had just about every coffee maker there is. Until now the brew I made was great. That was until I found the Chemex coffee maker. Now I can't be satisfied by any other method. I'm addicted there I said it. Those filters do such a great job of making a delectible nectar of roaster heaven that I can't stop making coffee.

These Chemex filters are far better than the unbleached versions. The unbleached filters (even after rinsing) leave your coffee with notes of cardboard. These do not.

I have to be honest, I never tried another filter in my Chemex coffee brewer than these recommended filters. That said, these filter work well and help to produce about the best brewed coffee you can make at home. I will always use Chemex filters in my Chemex coffee maker.

These filters are great for the Chemex. I ran out and used some traditional store bought ones and big mistake. Coffee taste awesome.

My wife loves making coffee this way. And she says the filters now appear to include a slightly improved design, so no reason to give less than perfect rating.
