Made of fairly thick glass(feels and looks like pyrex) so it is quite sturdy. Stopcock works great, doesnt get stuck or leak like cheper ones. I did have an issue with the glass stopper getting stuck, and i tried heating it with a blow torch to expand the glass and pulled extreamly hard but had no luck. I finally stuck a metal rod through the bottom spout and tapped the stopper from the inside and it popped rite out!! Since then I have been using cork stoppers. Other than that, I have had absolutley no problems. VERY SATISFIED!
