Great, SILICONE-OIL FREE syringes! I went ahead and ordered these before I had received an answer to a question; and these thankfully do NOT have any silicone oil. The manufacturer or at least the creator of this product page should definitely add that fact prominently to the description AND title: "SILICONE OIL FREE." Many customers using these for pets or infants/small children would find this to be important. I purchased another brand of 1mL syringes here manufactured by GPS Medical that had a rubber-ended plunger, and there was an alarming amount of oily residue all over the plunger tip and inside open end of the syringe. I left a review to that effect, and their answer was that silicone oil is inert and harmless. I disagree and do not feel they should be marketing their syringe as "sterile." To me, sterile means NO residues of any kind which could breed bacteria. I use these for syringe-feeding a CKD kitty, and I don't want silicone oil coming into contact with the food inside.

These are polypropylene, the same material most ejuice is bottled in. Unlike other standard syringes, there is no latex used so flavors such as banana and citrus will not melt the plunger. Highly recommended for DIY!
