R. H. Karol
Reuben H. Karol is a Civil Engineer internationally known for his work and publications related to ground modification for engineering purposes. He is currently Professor Emeritus from Rutgers University, where he taught under- graduate and graduate courses courses in Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering and Chemical Grouting. Concurrently with his engineering career, he sculpted professionally. His laminated wood sculptures have been exhibited in more than twenty Fine Art Galleries across America, and are currently shown at Galleria of Sculpture in Palm Beach, FL. His publications include four college textbooks and more than thirty technical articles. His latest book "Up Until Now-Everything Was Okay" is his first foray into commentary.
