So scared when I first brought product home thinking I was really going to mess up my skin. 39 yrs old, caucasian, sun damage (tanning bed mostly) although I never smoked and rarely drink. Noticed within the last few yrs that I was getting bad crows feet and wrinkles that I never had before. People would always comment on how nice my skin looked, then VOILA - 3 yrs ago and two kids later and I look like the CryptKeeper. Yikes! Anyway, sleep helps a lot, but this product WORKS! It burns TERRIBLY after about a minute or so, and continues to burn (kind of like a match lit to your face - YOW) but if you keep your blow dryer on low and cool on the face after application, it helps. Try to keep it on for a few minutes if you can. You might notice white spots on your face - it's called "frosting" meaning that you've reached the dermis layer of your skin. Use cool water to take off and then apply Eucerin Sensitive Face Lotion liberally for the next few weeks. STAY OUT OF THE SUN, WEAR A BASEBALL CAP OR YOU WILL REALLY MESS UP YOUR FACE. Don't pick at the scabs that appear usually 2-3 days later. To be honest, the downtime is about a week and for me, it's really aggravating. You look terrible at first, skin all tight, irritated, and then once it starts peeling you look worse, but after the week you should be good to go, I use a mild dermabrasion after about a week to completely shed the dead skin. HOpe this helps, but I'm certainly no doctor. Just giving my experience.

This product made my scar lighter and it completely removed another scar that I had. I'm giving it four stars because it hasn't completely gotten rid of the scar yet. Maybe the next treatment will. Anyways I would recommend this product, but the downtime is two-three weeks.

It works, i was wondering it the tca works because i had age spots all over my face and i am only 31years old and start to noticed the elevens wrinkles (the wrinkles between your eyebrows) but i tried just last week and love it, now i want use on my mother.
At the moment when i put on in my face the tca 20% was burning my face, i put on before i went sleep, at the next morning my husband looked at me an asked me -What happened to your face-, I was so scare,so when i looked at the mirror i saw my face with scabs, looked very bad,and for the feeling of dryness and itchy at the third day you can use aquaphor helps a lot,after all the scabs are gone my face looks more youngher and clear, no more 11's wrinkle and the age spots are almost invisible.

It works best alone. The skin actually peels, but the pain is horrifying! After applying this product, it felt like my face was seriously burning (flames). Be aware of the PAIN!!

This burns pretty bad when you first put it on,but I get a nice uniform burn every time I use it. My face is usually pretty red for the first few days after usage along with a "skin crust".After those few days it starts peeling slowly. It takes around 2 weeks for the process to complete itself.It has really helped smooth my skin and fade red marks left by acne.be sure to follow the instructions and stay away from the sun!

I've used this product twice so far with pretty good results. Let me qualify this by stating that I've only peeled 1-2 layers, so I have not yet gone deep. I cannot afford the down-time associated with a deeper peel yet, so I am postponing that until later this summer. However, I have left this on for 5 minutes and it's been pretty effective. I felt the stinging -- not unbearable, but definitely noticeable. For the first day post-peel, my face feels tight and is shiny (like a sunburn). By the third or fourth day, my skin starts peeling, but it's not the deep peeling I experienced previously in the doctor's office. It's like a sunburn. I spot-treated an area on my chest and applied several layers. That area did crust and eventually peel, so I think my face would do the same thing with a deeper application.

I am fair-complected, so I was afraid of over-doing it with a 20% solution. But, as I read in other reviews, you can go as light or deep as you want to. I prefer several light applications (when you can still go out in public without looking like a freak) rather than one deep application.

I've given this four stars only because I haven't done the deep peel on my face yet, so I can't really attest to its effectiveness to eliminate wrinkles, scars, age spots, etc. But I have high hopes...

About 10 years ago, I paid $800 in a dermatologist's office for a TCA peel. The results are very similar with this product (albeit not as deep) but at an extremely reduced price. I don't see any reason to waste money on a doctor when, if done carefully, you can replicate the results at home.

I see people saying stuff like the product is vinegar and that there is no burning.
That is B.S. I put this on for about 5 minutes and it burned like hell.
I started peeling on the 2nd or 3rd day of use.
The people who said this are either full of crap, or competition. That's just my opinion though.
I just wanted to give some honest un-biased feedback because I know there are people out there who are looking for help.

It works okay, still waiting for complete results. Just when I think it's done, I end up peeling more. I have used the PCA tca peel, which was better, but you have to have a license and it is more expensive. It was also mixed with kojic acid. This one is still nice, I will review again at a later time.

I have over active sebaceous glands on my face as well as age spots. I have used the TCA to bring down the scars over the active and inactive spots where the glands erupted into something often looking like whiteheads on my forehead. I also have used the TCA to reduce the age spots all over my body; it is especially useful on those areas where a rough texture accompanies the age spot. The product is easy to use, and it is not painful. The Seller has always been helpful in the use of the product and in determining which product is most helpful for my particular skin issue. I am not a professional in skin care in any sense of the word. I am about to buy another product from the seller for a different skin issue.

After reading the review in here I was a little worried, but had a few days off and decided to try it. I have tried other peels before and was worried for the pain.
It was not painful at all. It hardly stung. Left it on for the first time for 4 min. Didn`t think it was working. A few days later I could see it started to peel slightly. No problem beeing out in public. My skin feel thightened and has a nice glow to it. I will definetly use it again. Very happy with the product
